Description:
Barronelle Stutzman, a Christian florist, referred her friend and long-time customer to other florists because she could not in good conscience provide full wedding support for a same-sex wedding. Barronelle is a devout Christian. In her religious tradition, marriage is a sacred religious ceremony between a man, a woman and Christ. It's a covenant with the church. To participate in a wedding that violates those principles violates the core of her faith. Although the couple received flowers, the Washington State Attorney General, and later, the same-sex couple, sued Barronelle.
The court found her liable for violating the Washington Law Against Discrimination and ruled that both the state and the couple may collect damages and attorneys' fees from Barronelle's business and personal assets. Barronelle has appealed her case to the Washington Supreme Court, but the 70-year-old grandmother is facing losses which potentially threaten her business, her home, and her savings.
Because she stood for her faith, she faces staggering judgments which threaten her financial future.
But you can help! Your contributions will help Barronelle rebuild her life.
"They can destroy me, but they cannot destroy my God, or his Word."

About the campaign director:
I am a friend of Barronelle Stutzman and this campaign exists with her knowledge and cooperation. Barronelle is seeking protection not only for herself, but wants to see funds raised be available to help other business owners that face similar legal challenges for operating their business consistent with their faith.
The highest priority is to protect Barronelle and her livelihood. But Barronelle is seeking protection not only for herself, she also wants to see funds raised be available to help other business owners that face similar legal challenges for operating their business consistent with their faith. Funds will be paid directly to a trust established to assist Barronelle and those in similar circumstances. The gifts donated to the trust are not tax deductible, but they are greatly appreciated.
Funds may be used to help cover any outstanding legal fees and costs imposed from the opposition or they may also be used to help replace the assets taken as a result of the legal challenges. The total cost to Barronelle is unknown because the legal challenges are ongoing. If the funds provided by donors exceed Barronelle's needs, the funds may be used to cover those same expenses for others who defend their constitutional right to live consistently with their faith.
Mission Statement:
Please join in the fight by giving today to protect Barronelle against the financial risks she faces.

Great start, we have to turn this injustice around. If it goes against your religious beliefs you shouldn%u2019t be forced to do anything.
Please pray for my country, Switzerland. So far we have been spoiled with our freedom. However, in a month's time the people will vote on an antidiscrimination law that of course sounds very good but will take freedom away. Up to now it would not have been possible for the legal system in Switzerland to treat people like you have been treated, but that might change if the new law gets introduced.

We should first pray for those who don't know Him. The answer to every problem in this world is Him.
