Hello and Thank you for supporting BridgingHeart and  being part of our community.   If you have attended our Chili Cookoffs, or Block Party this year you know that we keep community at the heart of our work.   In the last three years we have given away  over 40 suitcases to  youth transitioning out of foster care. To provide support and security as they begin a difficult new life without the same access to resources that they had in foster care.   In doing this work, we have found that youth making this transition have numerous struggles:  https://youth.gov/youth-briefs/foster-care-youth-brief/challenges  and BridgingHeart  is working to build prevention and intervention.   We have partnered to build out our youth mentorship program, who has supported youth that work for local organizations, companies, and even serve with us.   BridgingHeart  is now opening a transitional home for youth that would provide:  - Shelter and security as our growing youth learn to live ...
