We're happy to report that Jude Myron Barnes was born on January 21st, 2015. Alida and I have been blessed with the opportunity of being a part of his life from his very first breaths. And being parents to wonderful little Myron has been a blessing beyond belief! His precious smiles and his beautiful little coos have given more joy to Alida and I than just about anything in the universe. And to add blessing upon blessing, Myron, Alida, and I have been so loved by our friends, family, and church community. We literally could not have done this without y'all! But as we hit the homestretch of the adoption process we have been hit with some expenses that went well beyond what we had planned for. Specifically the legal fees in Nevada and the social worker visits in California are beyond what we were told initially. We trust that God will see us through this time and we have learned through this experience (and others!) that God often uses the people he has placed in our lives to be a source of help.
